Coming Soon Inside the Ferry Terminal

 In addition to our coffee stand, we are expanding to the Commuter Comforts Takeaway & Bar.

It will offer a full bar and an all-day menu of fresh, in-house specialties for dine-in or takeaway—from savory fried favorites and comfort foods, to healthy options…or even an affogato! It’s the perfect spot to grab a bite or cocktail before your ferry ride, walk into town, or to take home.

At Commuter Comforts, we believe an excellent cup of coffee marks the start of a wonderful day. This is why we have been dedicated to serving the Bainbridge Island community since 1992 - one cup of coffee at a time. We are located right outside the Bainbridge Ferry Terminal, so we take pride in providing commuters with their daily coffee and food needs. We aim to fuel Bainbridge Islanders in a way that helps nourish the local community that has supported our business for 28 years.

Commuter Comforts is dedicated to operating in ways that preserve the beautiful environment around us. All of our coffee and most of our food is served with compostable packaging. Can't find a composting bin? Use ours! By collecting compostable products, we can save 400 gallons of waste a week from going into landfills!

🍽️ Our Locally Sourced Vendors

Most our coffee and food products are sourced locally as 90% of our vendors are homegrown. Our coffee comes from Mukilteo right over on Whidbey Island and all our baked goods and food items come from the greater Bainbridge area. Here are some examples; Ancient Grains, Farm Kitchen, Cups Espresso, Macrina Bakery, & more!
